Diana Juricevic, B.A. Hons (Toronto), JD (Toronto), M.A. Economics (Toronto) is the Acting Director of the International Human Rights Program and Clinic at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto.



Prior to joining the faculty, Diana worked for Gregory W. Kehoe and Luka S. Misetic on the Defence team for General Ante Gotovina in Prosecutor v. Ante Gotovina, Ivan Cermak, and Mladen Markac, IT-06-90-T, at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands. Diana has a background in civil litigation and development economics, and has field work and human rights advocacy experience in Africa and Asia. She has developed legal aid clinics in Zambia, advised Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr. on a corporate social responsibility case against Shell Oil in Nigeria, and planned a legal strategy with Dr. James Orbinski at Medecins Sans Frontieres on a project involving the transfer of pharmaceutical technology to twelve manufacturing sites in Africa. Diana is also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Toronto, Trinity College, where she is teaching an undergraduate course on "Advanced Topics in International Criminal Law", and is a senior resident at Massey College.



Diana is also a visual artist and Action Canada Fellow. She was named by the Women's Executive Network in 2007 as one of the "Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada" and profiled in Chatelaine in 2008 as one of "80 Canadian Women to Watch".
