Professional Profile:
I practice immigration law exclusively and have been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2006. Although I am based in Milwaukee, I have represented clients throughout the U.S. immigration court system, before the Board of Immigration Appeals and Seven Circuit Court of Appeals, and at several U.S. consulates abroad. My principle areas of practice include deportation defense before the Chicago immigration court and related litigation, post-conviction relief for foreign nationals in Wisconsin, and assisting clients with family-based immigration, naturalization, and asylum applications. In addition to co-authoring an article on deportation defense strategies, I have given several presentations on the immigration detention system, family-based immigration, comprehensive immigration reform, as well as a CLE presentation on the immigration consequences of criminal activity.
